nThe Bandhej fabric arts of western India, mainly Rajasthan and Gujrat is one of the most ancient forms of tie-dye. The name is derived from the Sanskrit root bandh (to bind or tie). To create the same ef fect, the back of a foam roller is used to stamp each dot individually on the wall.
